Abstract:

continuestorise.OneofthecriticalcomponentsinanEVisthewheel

motor,whichplaysavitalroleintheoverallperformanceandefficiency

ofthevehicle,especiallyinsteeringconditions.Thispaperaimsto

investigateandproposeatorquedistributionstrategyforwheelmotors

inelectricvehiclesduringsteeringoperations.

Introduction:

Electricvehiclesaregainingattentionduetotheirenvironmental

friendlinessandpotentialforenergyefficiency.Theuseofwheel

motorsinEVshasattractedinterest,astheyofferseveraladvantages

suchasincreasedcontrol,reducedenergyloss,andenhancedvehicle

dynamics.However,existingtorquedistributionstrategiesprimarily

focusonstraight-linedrivingconditionsandfailtoconsiderthespecific

requirementsofsteeringconditions.Thisresearchfocuseson

addressingthisgapbystudyingandproposingatorquedistribution

strategyspecificallyforelectricvehiclesduringsteeringmaneuvers.

TorqueDistributionStrategy:

Thetorquedistributionstrategyinsteeringconditionsaimsto

optimizetheperformanceandstabilityoftheelectricvehiclewhile

ensuringefficientusageoftheavailablepower.Theproposedstrategy

considersparameterssuchassteeringangle,vehiclespeed,road
