一、教学目标
1.能够借助图片读懂本单元的小故事,并在教师指导下进行表演。
2.启发学生思考,看问题要全面,不能只看局部。
3.能够运用句型Is it a…?对物品进行猜测。
4.学会单词wall, snake, fan, tree, rope的表达。

PPT、简笔画(大象)、图片(wall, snake, fan, tree, rope)

游戏教学法、TPR全身反应法、小组合作法
五、教学过程
Greetings and warm up.
Sing a song,“If you’re happy”
Game: “Christina says”
“Touch your...”“Christina says, touch your...”
Introduce the picture of the elephant: Who is he? Elephant.
What does the elephant look like? ...big\tall\long nose\...
Talk about picture1:
Q: What can you see? What’s the matter with the mice?
Watch and answer, “What happened?”
Listen and answer, “How many parts did the mice touch?”
Learn about the story, T tells the story picture by picture and gives a mind map,
Students understand and repeat.
Watch and repeat the story.(此步骤应翻书跟读)
Open the books,point and read the story together.
Retell the story.
Act the story. (4teams, each team act 1 role.)
Work in 4 and act.
Homework.
六、课后反思:
本堂课从儿歌“If you’re happy”入手,调动学习兴趣活跃课堂气氛,游戏“Christina says”通过做老师发出的指令达到复习旧知引入新知的目的。课文学习通过教师讲解,简笔画及图片的呈现,让学生直观的了解并掌握故事。最后以小组表演的形式呈现,学生掌握情况好,目标达成度高。不足之处:教师讲解故事的过程中,学生已经完成一遍看图跟读,下一步又让学生看PPT跟读显得有些重复,这一步应改为看书跟读,学生能够更进一步接触图文,课堂层次感会更清晰。
