However,GAO’spastworkhas

foundthatthefederalgovernment

capacitytoundertakethoseactivities.TheFoundationsforEvidence-BasedPolicymakingActof2018includesaprovisionforGAOtoidentifyactionstoimprovefederalagencycapacitytobuildanduseevidence.
