Summary The instrument is designed and made as per the National Standard of People’s Republic of China GB/T3536 “Test Methods for Flash Point and Fire Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Methods)”. It is suitable to determine the Cleveland open cup flash point of petroleum products, excepting fuel oils and petroleum products having open cup flash point lower than 79 ℃. The instrument adopts SCM controlling technologies, colored LCD screen, man machine conversation interface, and blank buttons. The expected flash point, sample serial number, barometric pressure and test date can be preset. It has menu prompt and input guide function. It uses open, fuzzy control software, and modularization structure. It is advanced, friendly, convenient, and accurate, so it is the best choice of similar instruments. It has been widely used for petroleum products flash point and fire point test in the field of railway, aviation, power, petroleum, scientific research institutes, measurement and inspection department, and college and universities.
