1.Going on Studying or Going to Work Currently/Nowadays/At present, the major dilemma/problem which most students face upon graduation is whether to continue pursuing postgraduate studies or to find a job immediately. Those who decide to go to work immediately cannot wait to put into practice what they have learned. They believe that only by application can a person master knowledge in the real sense. Most important of all, they can live on their own and have the feeling of accomplishment for the first time. Others, however, argue that if a person wants to be an expert in a specialized field, four years in university/at college is far from enough. The best way is to choose a subject and study it in depth. It is not late at all for them to go to work, for the reason that they start at a much higher level. No matter which choice a student makes, he has to be careful enough to look into his unique situation and consult others like his teachers for their advice. He will make the right choice if he knows his goal in life and how to turn it into a reality. 2. How to Face up to Challenge Nowadays /At present /At the present time we are facing more and more challenges in the modern world. Challenge means not only hardship, but opportunity as well. It can inspire our creative power and lead us to success. Therefore, we should not be afraid of challenge. The most important thing for us to do is to deal with challenge appropriately. First of all, we should be courageous enough to face up to it. No pains, no gains, as the saying goes. Only through hard work/diligence/studiousness/assiduity /industry can we achieve success. Second, we should get well prepared/do our homework both mentally and intellectually for challenge for the reason that /in that /because challenge may come at any time and only those who have made full preparations and acquired adequate knowledge can take it up with ease.
