on career decision-making, or How To Make Good Career Decisions, And Avoid Bad Ones. Today, I
want to talk about a situation we all face at times in our career. How To Assess The Risk Of
Moving vs The Risk of Not Moving.

So should you stay, or should you go? When considering this very important question, most people
always think about the risk of pursuing a new opportunity. That’s natural, right, to worry about
moving to a different, unfamiliar situation. I mean, what if the job change doesn’t work out?
What if you don’t like your new role? Or you don’t get along with your new boss? I mean, a
dozen things could go wrong.
所以你应该留下来,还是应该换个工作?在考虑这个非常重要的问题时,大多数人总是会考虑追求新机会的风

But when assessing these risks of making a job move, it’s interesting. Most people
rarely think about the risk of NOT moving. And in particular, staying in a situation where
you’re not able to further develop your capabilities and achieve the success you seek.

of times in a job situation where not much new is going on, or where you’re not doing or
learning much for your development, you may not feel it. But relative to many others in the
