Congestion Relief Method Research Based--ZigBee Wireless Sensor Network within Field Data Collection
ABSTRACT
In the paper,Test-bed is based on TI CC2530 chip and a monitoring software for crop environment parameters is designed and achieved.In order to reduce network traffic that brought by data redundancy,weighted data fusion algorithm is achieved on terminal node and provided rigorous derivation in the paper.
Congestion avoidance and congestion control are fulfilled based on rate adjustment and traffic control strategy.In the paper,works are presented as follows within ZigBee protocol:a)Congestion relief method with intelligent based on rate adjustment is designed and fulfilled,called as CR mechanism;b)Designing and achieving random data transmission method(RTM);c)CR+is a hybrid method which is combined CR with RTM;d)designing and achieving time—sharing data
transmission method(TSTM).The paper uses Environment information parameters
monitoring software for crop to monitor uninterruptedly beans and strawberry in experiment greenhouse for testing the robustness of the software.The performance of CR,CR+,RTM and TSTM method are verified by plentiful experiments in the paper.

These experiment results show that these proposed methods is embedded in ZigBee protocol respectively which are superior to raw ZigBee protocol to same degree. Further we compare the performance of ZigBee protocol embedded CR and CR+. The experiment result shows that the ZigBee protocol embedded CR+is better candidate。
