TheYear2025willseesuchchangesmanifestthem-selvesinbothchallengesandopportunities.Erodedtrust,intensifyingrivalryandarapidlydeterioratingglobalsecu-ritylandscapethreatentoturntheworldintoamoredan-gerousanddividedplace.Withhalfoftheworld’spopula-tionandover70countriesareashavingnewleadershipinplace,theyear2025mustgearupformorecomplexities,newdevelopmentsinunilateralismprotectionism,andgreatershocksonworldpeaceandglobaldevelopment,whichhasgivenrisetorenewedworries,concernsanxi-etiesinDavos,Munich,quiteafewinternationalconfer-encesandthewiderglobalcommunity.

InAsiaandinBoao,however,weareseeingadiffer-entpictureandsoundingadifferentnote.Asiaisnotjustleadingtheworldineconomicdevelopmentasthechiefgrowthengineandcontributor.Itisemergingasatechnol-ogypioneerandinnovationhub,withimpressiveadvances,eye-catchingbreakthroughsdown-to-earthapplicationinAIandrenewables.
