One or five? better to save five lives even if it means sacrificing one Scene:2 youre an onlooker. Youre standing on a bridge overlooking a trolley car track. The tragedy is going to happen A very fat man standing next to you, leaning over the bridge Give him a shove Fall onto the track,die but save the fives PUSH OR NOT? What’s wrong with the former moral principals: Sacrifice one to save five? MORAL REASONING: Consequentialism:?locates morality in the consequences of an act. (kill on and save five.)
