Again the answer is absolutely no. The NCS is not dead because of BIM. Despite the fact that one of the minimum requirements for the National BIM Standards is to be NCS compliant for its 2d documentation the main focus of the NCS and BIM methodology is the same. It is the maintain the information of an individual building throughout the life cydle of the building, the NCS calls this the fadlity cyde. The manner in which BIM and NCS do this is different but complementary to each other.
