With the advancement of technology and the further development of auto industry, the level of social productive forces increased significantly, car gradually became an integral vehicle of peoples daily life. Increased car bring many prominent social problems, one of which is the contradiction between the shortages of land resources and rapidly increasing number of cars more and more serious. Parking problems become prominent increasingly. Stereo garage came into being in the environment. The establishment of stereo garage is an effective measure to solve the parking problem in the city. Depending on the size of market demand, stereo garage needs to diversify to meet the needs of users at different levels, so in-depth study of stereo garage, design hardware reliability, control systems stability, HMI interface friendly, storage and retrieval operation of the stereo garage easily is a very meaningful work.
This paper analyzes the basic framework,structure and operation of the stereo garage, designs a stereo garage control system based on Siemens touch screen and PLC. The visibility of the touch screen and the stability of PLC meanwhile the compatibility between them are fully used in the control system. The whole control system apply PLC as core control equipment to control normal operation of the stereo garage, establishing a PROFEBUS-DP field bus communication networks, S7-300 series PLC CPU315-2DP as a master station of the communications network, touch screen MP270B,frequency converter MM440 and distribution type I/O devices ET200M as slave stations of communication network.
