Unit 10 if you go to the party, you’ll have a great time. 知识点 Section A 1.If you go to the party, you’ll have a great time.如果你去参加聚会，你会玩得很开心。 have a good time =have a great time= have fun= enjoy oneself.玩得开心，过得快乐。 They are having a great time= they are enjoying themselves.他们正玩得很开心。 2.half the class won’t come.一半的同学将不会来。 (1).half the class一半的同学,half adj.一半的；半个的.Half the melons are bad.一半的甜瓜坏了。 (2).class是集体名词，意为“全班同学”，是复数概念。Half the class come from the village. 一半的学生来自这个村庄。 (3).class n.班级。I’m in class 140 ,Grade Eight.我在八年级140班。 3….let’s order food from a restaurant……..咱们从饭店订购食物吧。 Order vt.订购；订货；点菜；命令。 (1)Order sth from+地点，意为“从某地订购某物”。I order some clothes from that shop.我从那家商店订购了一些衣服。 (2).order sb. to do sth.命令某人做某事。 Order him to act at once!命令他立即行动！ 4.If we ask people to bring food, they’ll just bring potato chips and chocolate because they’ll be too lazy to cook.如果我们带食物来，他们将只带炸薯条和巧克力，意为他们太懒而不去做。 (1)ask sb.to do sth.叫某人做某事；ask sb. not to do sth.叫某人不要做某事。 Our teacher asks us to read every day. 我们的老师要去我们每天都阅读。 (2)potato chips炸土豆片；炸薯条。名词作定语修饰名词时，只用单数。apple trees.苹果树。 表示性别的名词man或 woman作定语修饰复数名词时，要变成复数。a man teacher 一位男老师, two men teachers两位男老师 , a woman doctor一位女大夫, some women doctors一些女大夫. (3)too…to…意为“太……而不能……”表示否定意义。too后跟形容词或副词，to后跟动词原形。 too… for sb.to“对某人来说…太而不能…”。The question is too difficult for me to answer. 这个问题对我来说太难了而不能回答。 too…to…结构可与not…enough to do sth.及so…that…进行转换。 He is too young to go to school =He is not old enough to go to school.=He is so young that he can’t go to school. 他太小了，而不能去上学。 5.Can you give me some advice please? 你能给我一些建议吗？ advice. Vi. 建议；劝告。没有复数形式，不能与an连用。其前可用a piece of, some, much。 a piece of advice 一条建议 some pieces of advice 一些建议 give sb. some advice.给某人提一些建议。 Section B 1.travel around the world.环游世界。 travel v.旅行；游历。 They want to travel across the desert.他们想横穿沙漠旅行。 travel, trip 与journey的区别： travel.指长途旅行或国外旅行。 trip.“旅行”。指来往固定的短距离旅行, Journey.指远距离的陆地旅行。 2
