Quality Gradings French wines are divided into two categories, table wine and quality wine. 法国的葡萄酒被分成两大种类,餐桌酒和高品质葡萄酒. “Quality Wine Produced in a Specified Region” or QWPSR. 高品质的葡萄酒产地是被指定的. All quality wines are subject to controls on the area of production, type of grape varieties, permitted minimum alcoholic content and methods of viticulture and vinification. 所有高品质葡萄酒的生产和酿制过程都受到严格的监控, 包括葡萄的品种, 最低的酒精标准, 葡萄的栽培技术和酿酒工艺, 等等. They are simple, everyday drinking wines, usually made for early consumption. 葡萄酒和葡萄品种可以来自法国的任何地方, 经常是混合型的, 比较容易入口, 可以每天都饮用. (b) Vin de pays Table wine with specific regional characteristics , will state the name of the area of production. Grapes grown in region but not native will be called vin de pays. 有了明确的区域性产地, 但葡萄不属于这个产地的特有品种. VDQS—vin delimite de Qualite Superieure Is the lower category of quality wines. AC---Appellation d’ Origine Controlee This is the highest category of French wine, and consequently, controls for AC are the most stringent.
