Abstract: Fuzzy PID control as an advanced intelligent algorithm is applied much less t han typical PID control due to its compli-
cation w hich makes t he cont roller hard to be implemented, cost too much resources and run inefficient ly. T he advant ages of im-
plement ing intelligent control algorithm w ith FPGA are analyzed and a new approach realizing fuzzy algorithm by using look-up-
table is presented. This method is proved to have advantages of design flexibility , short development period, high reliability
and quickly running.
