Photocatalytic Chemistry on TiO2 Surfaces 周传耀 中国科学院大连化学物理研究所 报告摘要: Photocatalytic hydrogen production and pollutant degradation provided both great chances and challenges in the field of sustainable energy and environmental science. Over the last few decades, we have witnessed the fast growing interest and effort in developing new photocatalysts, improving the efficiency and exploring the reaction mechanism at the atomic and molecular level. Owing to the relative high efficiency, nontoxicity, low cost and high stability, TiO2 becomes one of the most extensively investigated metal oxides in semiconductor photocatalysis. Fundamental research on well characterized single crystals using ultrahigh vacuum based surface science techniques could provide key microscopic insight into the underlying mechanism of photocatalysis. Here, elementary steps of photocatalytic reactions on TiO2 surfaces studied with surface science techniques such as two-photon photoemission spectroscopy and temperature programmed desorption will be presented. 报告人简介: 周传耀,中国科学院大连化学物理研究所副研究员。 2005 年和2011 年分别于中国科学技术大学和中国科学 院大连化学物理研究所获物理化学专业学士和博士学 位,2011 年开始在大连化学物理研究所分子反应动力 学国家重点实验室开展研究工作。研究方向集中在表 面光化学反应的基元步骤和表界面的超快电子及化学 动力学。 报告时间: 2016年10月24 日 (周一)下午 15:00- 16:00 报告地点: 南校区超微超快所211会议室 联 系 人孟建桥(jqmeng@csu.edu.cn)
