For IED this reason, the paper takes the structure of concentrated IED wide-area relay protection system as research object, and IEC 61850 according to the layer-on-layer modeling method of IEC 61850 standards, the paper presents generalized IED modeling procedures about wide-area relay protection system. 0 Secondly, the paper takes the digital 220kV substation and the algorithm of wide-area relay protection based on fault voltage distribution for examples, master station’s and slave stations’ tree structure of wide-area relay protection and the interactive [1-3] process model of message flow between master station and 1998 slave stations are given following the principles of IEC 61850 Yoshizumi serizawal standards.
