Prescription evaluation system
(for Trial Implementation)
In order to strengthen the prescription management, improve the prescription quality, standardize the medical behavior, promote the rational use of drugs, and ensure the medical safety, according to the provisions of the prescription management method of the Ministry of health, the prescription evaluation system is specially formulated.
I. evaluation content
In addition to the prescription management requirements prescribed in the above normative documents, the following contents are included in the evaluation scope of the prescription: first, the dosage of prescription drugs. Prescriptions are generally not allowed to exceed 7 daily doses; emergency prescriptions are generally not allowed for more than 3 days; for certain chronic diseases, geriatric diseases or special conditions, prescription dosage may be extended appropriately, but physicians must give reasons. Two is the standard use of antibiotics. In the light of the guiding principles of the Ministry of health and the relevant regulations on management, the rational and standard use of antibiotics (anti infective drugs) shall be evaluated. Three is the use of precious drugs. The rationality of the use of expensive drugs was evaluated by comparing the clinical diagnoses of the patients. Four is prescription drug costs. The rational analysis and evaluation of prescriptions are emphasized.
Two, evaluation methods
According to the daily medical quality inspection work in the hospital, the prescription quality, especially the rationality of prescription medication, is examined and evaluated by the functional departments at regular or irregular intervals, and the results are reported.
