Firstly, use ABAQUS to build the thermal-mechanical failure analysis model. Then use the temperature and HTC from CFD result as the boundary condition to calculate the temperature field and plastic strain of the exhaust manifold in each conditions. At last to evaluate the result and giving the modified suggestion. This paper give an important theory basis for structural strength developing of the engine parts, this will highly reduce the testing workload and the cost , speed up the developing process as well.
