Methods The outcomes and complications of TVT-O procedure in 54 females with SUI were retrospectively analyzed. Results The SUI was treated in 54 females with the TVT-O procedure. The mean operation time was 15min and the mean blood loss was 15mL. No urinary dysfunction was found in the patients after operation. Of the patients who were followed up for 10-36 mo after operation, 4 had transient dysuria which was treated with persisten urinary catherization or with drugs, 2 complained of mild femoribus internus discomfort. Conclusion The TVT-O is a safe, effective, minimally invasive and simple procedure for SUI in females.
