Directive 5560, D9 – Lockout Tagout Program requires this Agency to establish and maintain policies regarding the control of hazardous energy. This Program has been written for that purpose. The Control of Hazardous Energy Program will be reviewed as necessary by the Safety Health Office and each Bureau or Office of the CT Department of Energy Environmental Protection (DEEP). Following review (and amendment if indicated) the Facility Managers, the Chief of Staff, and the Program Specialist from the Agency Safety Health Office (Safety Office) shall sign and date the plan below.
The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout / Tagout) Program was reviewed for accuracy and compliance with current workplace practices as of November 13, 2013.
