According to DPSIR model，divides those influence factors into 5 categories，namely driving force index， pressure index，state index，impact index and response index. Then the paper establishes the evaluation index system of construction industry modernization ，constructs a comprehensive evaluation model. Lastly，taking Jiangsu Province as an example. the paper makes empirical analysis of development level of regional construction industry modernization.
