And then, according to analyses different economiczones’ geography, I try to find out the close relation between the economy and geography. Finally we will learn more about how American make full use of its superior geography to develop its economy and then become such powerful.Keywords: Economy; geography; natural resource; industry; districtIntroductionAs we know, nowadays, America is the unique superpower in the world. Not only its military but also its economy isthe most developed. You may wonder how it could become such powerful. Some people may state that it is because of its advance education and technology. Exactly, the reason is comprehensive. But, have you ever imagined that if Americawas just a small country in the Africa or it was just located in a desert, would it also become such powerful? So, as far as I am concerned, the geographical location hasa greatinfluence on its economic. In the followings I will tell you how American geographical location influences its economic structure.The whole geography character America covers an area of 9,629,091 square kilometers and it has a population of more than 30 million. America is consisted of 50 states and a district and 48 states are in the mainland. It has a long boundary withthe Great Lakes in its north, the Gulf of Mexico to its north,the Atlantic Ocean to its east and the Pacific Ocean to its west. Geographically, America can be divided into three tandem parts: the highland in the west, the plain in the middle and the Appalachia Mountain in the east. It has three mountain chains----the Cordillera Mountains, the Rocky Mountains and theAppalachian Mountains, and four main rivers---- the Mississippi–Missouri
