1.SCOPE

Thesespecificationsdefinethephysicalandchemicalpropertiesrequiredofaneutralelectroplatedtinzincalloyand

itsassociatedhexavalentchromiumfreepassivateinordertoprovidetherequirementsofcorrosionresistanceand

electricalconductivity.

Allprocessesarefreefromhexavalentchromium,lead,andcadmium.

2.APPLICATION

Thesespecificationswerereleasedtoprovidecorrosionprotectiveandelectricallyconductivecoatingsoversteel

fastenersandsmallparts.Thesecoatingsarealsosuitableforfastenersthatareformedduringinstallation(e.g.blind

rivets,blindanchornuts)andsmallnon-electricalcomponents.

2.1SERVICETEMPERATURE

Duetothelowmeltingpointoftin-zincalloy(197°C),themaximumservicetemperatureis190°C.

Thesecoatingsarenotrecommendedforbody-in-whiteparts,partsthatwillbesubsequentlyelectrocoated,orparts

subjectedtohighservicetemperaturesforextendedperiods.

3.0.1ApprovedApplicatorQualityRequirements

Applicatorsmustfollowcoatingmanufacturerproceduresandrecommendationsforchemicalusage,equipment,

analysisandprocessing.

1.范围

2.应用

2.1.操作温度

由于锡锌合金的熔点低（197°C），最高使用温度为190°C。
