统相关法、双谱法的基础上,分析其缺陷,将基于子空间的参数估计算法引入到 UWB 时延估计当中,分别研究了 MUSIC 算法、LS-ESPRIT 算法、TLS-ESPRIT 算法 的高分辨时延估计性能,并在多径环境下进行仿真实验,验证了基于子空间算法 的有效性。最后,将 TLS-ESPRIT 算法应用到 UWB 单基站定位系统中,结合角度 测量,获得了较好的定位精度。

The Study of High-Resolution Time Delay Estimation and
Positioning Technology Based on UWB Signal Abstract
Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless communication technology receives more and more attentions in recent years since it has advantages of high transmission rate, low transmitting power, high multipath resolution and strong anti-interference ability. In particular, the UWB high accuracy positioning technology has broad application prospects in short distance indoor positioning systems. It makes up for the defect of low positioning accuracy caused by non-line of sight(NLOS) and multipath in traditional positioning systems such as the global positioning system(GPS).
This paper studies the UWB positioning technology and the estimation method of time delay. According to the different types of parameters measured in the positioning system, the basic positioning methods can be divided into the following
four types: Time of Arrival(TOA) 、 Angle of Arrival(AOA) 、 Received Signal
Strength(RSS) and hybrid location method.
Using nanosecond pulses as transmission signals, the UWB wireless positioning technology has the advantage of high time resolution. The positioning method based on time of arrival can make full use of this advantage and is the most suitable method to the UWB positioning system. The time delay estimation is an important technology in the positioning system based on time of arrival. High resolution time delay estimation is the key to accurate positioning since it directly affects the positioning error. In order to overcome the influence on the positioning accuracy caused by multipath and NLOS, high-resolution time delay estimation algorithm is essential.
