Interior Design Tips 1.Definition of Interior Design The term Interior Design covers many different elements, some of them you may be familiar with and others you may not have heard of before. It is a profession that definitely never gets boring. This isn’t your typical job where you are doing the same thing over and over again each day. 1.1 The process of design The work of an Interior Designer involves using the basic principles of the discipline and then applying them to various homes and businesses. Keep in mind the Interior Designer has to come up with a variety of colors and themes that they can copy from paper to actual rooms. They have to do this while taking the look the owner is after into consideration as well. The designs they develop don’t have to just look nice, they often have to serve a purpose. Each room has to be layout out in a manner that it is productive. Anyone who has tried to achieve this in their own home can imagine how difficult it can be to do it for someone else. In addition, each design has to carefully adhere to the codes and requirements of the state where the work is completed as well.
