Essays (论文) （60% ） Your four major (主要的) essays will combine (结合) to form (构成) the main (主要的) part of the grade for this course (课程): Essay 1 =10%; Essay 2=15%; Essay 3=15%; Essay 4=20% Group Assignments （小组作业）（30% ） Students will work in groups to complete(完成) four assignments(作业) during the course(课 程). All the assignments (作业) will be submitted (提交) by the assigned (布置的) date through Blackboard, our online learning (在线学习) and course management (管理)system (系统). Daily ( 日常的)Work/In-Class Writings and Tests/Group Work/Homework （10%） Class activities will vary (变化) from day to day, but students must be ready to complete short in-class writings or tests drawn(获取) directly(直接地) from assigned (布置的)readings or notes(笔 记) from the previous (之前的) class lecture(讲课；讲座)/discussion (讨论), so it is important to take careful notes during class.
