The main testing method of this thesis is changing the strong electric field near the equipment of high voltage into a certain range of small signal by high voltage probe. And then it is sent to signal conditioning circuit for adjustment and judgment, output signal will carry out a sound and light alarm in an alarm circuit when the high voltage is detected higher than the setting value. This design also includes electric power conversion circuit which can change the external voltage into operating voltage in the circuit. The circuit which is described in this thesis can helps maintenance personnel to test whether the equipment has high voltage or not by the non-contact method, in this case, the safety of operators can be assured, thereby, we can achieve the goal of detection. Signal conditioning circuit in this thesis includes First-order low-pass filter, phase amplifier, comparator circuit, and alarm control circuit.
