西南交通大学研究生学位论文 西南交通大学研究生学位论文 第1页 摘 要 ／ 一f汉字如何输入计算机一致是中国人使用电脑的一大难题。虽然有很多不 同的输入方法，但是都不能从根本上解决汉字输入大众化的问题。 虽然西方文字的研究从50年代开始到现在基本上已经没有识别的技术 难题，但是对于汉字而言，汉字识别刚刚开始。原因不仅在于汉字识别开始 于80年代，而且由于汉字书写上的变化多端、书写随意，是模式识别中非常 困难的一个领域。， 本文试图对手手写体汉字的识别提供一个新的思路——基于特征笔画组 进行识别，这种方法利用手写体汉字中大量的连笔所提供的丰富信息进行识 别。本文将将汉字分解为：汉字层、字块层、特征笔画组层、笔画层。 笔画层主要的对象是简单的直笔，同时在笔画层引入曲笔概念。对于直 笔，这里除了使用通常的8个方向区间进行定义之外，还添加新的8个方向 区间作为过渡方向区间，通过新的方向区间提高对于书写时笔画方向的容忍 度。通过对弯曲设置为曲笔和圈笔对书写时候无法归结为直笔的笔画进行描 述，以提高笔画表述上的准确度。 在特征笔画组层将手写者的书写习惯通过学习存入数据库，在识别的时 候，通过数据库中手写者的特定书写习惯，对于手写体汉字中的连笔进行甄 别，由于个人书写习惯的特定性，从而剔除对于书写者不存在的连笔组成。 在字块层将汉字分解成为相对独立的字块，通过字块之间的位置关系可 以帮助汉字识别。在一个字块中由于笔画的组合是固定的，这种固定性可以 比较好的淘汰干扰字块。 这种方法需要建立的数据库相对较小，需要的样本比较少。 关键词： 手写I私字识别；特征笔画组；曲笔；汉字分层 AbstractIt Abstract It is always a difficulty problem for Chinese to make Chinese characters enter the computer．Many input methods Call be used now,but popularization of character inDut has not been realized radically． Technique problems have hardly existed in the study ofwestern letter recognition since 1 950’S．But Chinese character recognitionjust begins．删s is because not only Chinese character recognition began in 1980’S，but also Chinese characters change much and Can be written行eely,which is considered a difficulty field in paRern recognition． The thesis tries to bring a new thought for Chinese handwriting recognitiorr---the method based upon the characteristic group of strokes．IUch information for recognition Can be provided by a lot ofconnected strokes in Chinese handwriting．Chinese characters are devided into four grades in the thesis： characters，radicals，the characteristic group ofstrokes and stroke．． In the stroke grade，the main object are simple straight strqke，at the same ，、 time，the concept ofcurve stroke is introduced．Straight stroke are defined 8 new direction regions，lhat are used aS transitional regions，as while as by 8 common direction ones，the new direct regions Can make stroke direction more exact． 二 Unstraight are described as curve seoke and round stroke，which can
