And the shopping mall has becoming an important part of recreational living place correspondingly, it is not only a place for selling and buying ,but also a place for entertaining. Good environment reflects the good development of a city ,so how to deepen the brand image and distinguish from other malls at the same time is the essential problem of store design. To achieve better profits, the shopping environment should be designed high-end and exclusive, so the space lighting design becomes the crucial part of store design. The target of the lighting design is to perfectly present the beauty of goods and create an atmosphere which attracts customers and promotes sales .Except for beautiful and comfortable decoration ,a good lighting design can also reinforce customers’ shopping desire and good impression of the mall ,and they will shop again and again. This article will demonstrate the important role of space lighting design in mall space design based on the basic concept of space light
