MetLife Silver Lining Critical Illness Protector PART I - TERM OF POLICY This Policy is issued for a term from the Policy Date to the Maturity Date and provides coverage subject to the terms and conditions of this Policy. PART II – DEFINITIONS 2.1 The definitions in this section apply to the following words and phrases wherever they appear in this Policy unless the context otherwise requires. “Accident” means any sudden, unforeseen, unexpected, external, violent and visible event. “Accidental” shall be construed accordingly. “Accumulated Dividend” means the aggregate of the Annual Dividend accumulated to the credit of the Policy in accordance with Clause 7.6.1(i). “Activities of Daily Living” means the following activities: (i) Dressing The ability to put on, take off, secure and unfasten all garments and, as appropriate, any braces, artificial limbs or other surgical appliances for oneself. (ii) Feeding The ability to feed oneself once food has been prepared and made available. (iii) Mobility The ability to move oneself from room to room on level surfaces in an indoor envi
