We present recent prelimi- a nary measurements of the b-quark mass and related nonperturbative parameters from moments of J kinematic distributions in charmed and charmless semileptonic and radiative penguin B decays. 3 2 Their determination from charmless semileptonic B decays is the first measurement in this mode. INTRODUCTION An important goal of the B-physics program is the precise measurement of the CKM matrix [1] elements |Vcb | and |Vub |. The most accurate determinations are obtained from semileptonic decays B → X ℓν and B → X ℓν , respectively.
