Abstract : T he response charact erist ic of eroded sediment in 25b r unof f plot s w as studied based on t hr ee dif fer-
ent sim ulat ed rainfall int ensit y w hich w ere 0 . 285 mm/ min, 0. 97 8 mm / min and 1. 737 mm / min , respect ively.
T he result s w ere as f ollow s : T he quant ity of runof f sediment increased f irst ly and t hen reduced gradually and
tended t o be st able f inally w it h the runof f duration ext ended during rainf all process. T he t ime of peak quanti-
t y o f eroded sedim ent occurred brought f orw ard const ant ly alo ng w ith t he incr ease of rainf all intensit y during
