河北工业大学硕士学位论文 河北工业大学硕士学位论文 v v RESEARCH ON SMART THYRISTOR CONVERTER ABSTRACT Excitation Power Converter plays an important role in the excitation system of synchronous generator, the performance of Excitation Power Converter directly determines the safety, stability and high efficiency of synchronous generator. With the development of the large scale integrated circuit and digital circuit technology, the microcomputer excitation power units using the microprocessor as the core of detection and control power unit has become the development trend of the excitation power unit. According to the requirement, this paper puts forward to dsPIC30F6014 digital signal controller as the inspection and the control core of power unit, researches the intelligence excitation power units based on digital signal controller. First of all, this paper introduces the background and development trend of the excitation power unit, and summarizes the basic structure of the excitation power unit as well as some of merits and the insufficiency briefly. Secondly, this paper introduces the structure, characteristics and application scope of dsPIC30F6014 by comparing the structure and performance of dsPIC, single-chip microcomputer and DSP. Finally, this paper goes into details on the hardware design of excitation power unit based on the dsPIC as well as major real-time software flowcharts and implement method respectively from the input and output of switch signal module, the input capture module, the output comparison module, the analog input conversion module, communication module, etc. Intelligent power unit based on the dsPIC in this article has the intelligent detection and intelligent control and so on advanced technology. The adoption of these advanced technologys use causes the structure of excitation power unit in present paper to be simpler, the performance to be more reliable, the operation to be more convenient.The ralated experiment was carried out and the model machine was debugge
