The government hopes it will revive confidence in an economy that many fear is losing its sheen. 　　印度央行三年来首降利率，以此为放缓的经济提供动力。印度政府希望此举将能够恢复人们对经济的信心，许多人担心，印度经济的光环正在黯淡。 　　The Central Bank announced Tuesday it will cut interest rates by half a percentage point from 8.5 percent to 8 percent.
