Title:OptimizationofGinkgobilobaCallusCultureandIts
ApplicationinWoundHealing
Abstract:
Ginkgobiloba,popularlyknownasthemaidenhairtree,isawell-
knownmedicinalplantwithseveraltherapeuticbenefits.Inthisstudy,
wefocusedonoptimizingthecultureconditionsforGinkgobilobacallus
formationandexploreditspotentialapplicationsinwoundhealing.A
rangeofphysiologicalandbiochemicalparameterswereexaminedto
evaluatethegrowthofcallustissue.Theresultsindicatethatan
optimizedtissueculturemediumplaysacrucialroleinpromotingcallus
initiation,proliferation,andregeneration.Furthermore,weinvestigated
theeffectsofGinkgobilobacallusextractonwoundhealingactivity
usinginvitroandinvivomodels.OurfindingssuggestthatGinkgo

Introduction:
Ginkgobiloba,auniquedeciduoustreespecies,hasbeenusedin

activities.Itcontainsrichsourcesofflavonoids,terpenoids,andother
bioactivecompoundsthatpossessantioxidant,anti-inflammatory,and
woundhealingproperties.Theabilitytoinducecallusformationinvitro
providesaplatformforlarge-scaleproductionofthesebioactive
compounds.Therefore,optimizingthecultureconditionsforGinkgo
bilobacallusformationiscrucialfordevelopingnewtherapeutic
approachesinwoundhealing.
Methods:
Thestudyinvolvedthepreparationofthetissueculturemedium
usingvariouscombinationsofplantgrowthregulators(PGRs)suchas
auxinsandcytokinins.Parameterssuchascallusinitiationfrequency,
growthrate,biomassaccumulation,andbiochemicalcompositionwere
assessedtodeterminetheoptimalmediumformulation.Calluscultures
