N anjin g A utomobile Corporation , N anjin g 210028 , China Abstract In order to understand the characteristics of the electrohydraulic inverseproportional relief valve used in the continuously variable transmission (CV T) , a mathematical model with pressure and flux of the electrohydraulic inverseproportional relief valve was established. The model was analyzed and simulated , subsequently. The testbed was designed and a test standard was put forward , and tests of static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of the electrohydraulic inverseproportional relief valve were carried out . The experimental results indicate that the performances of the static characteristics and dynamic characteristics of the electrohydraulic inverseproportional relief valve are excellent , and it can satisfy precision control of the CV T.
