The shapes of silver nanoparticles have kept successfully in tune among quasi-spherical, right triangular and right hexagon at shapes by introducing different amounts of poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP), and changing the molar ratio between the raw materials of PVP and AgNO , and the aging temperature as well as 3 the holding time of aging temperature. The morphology of the synthesized nanoparticles (NPs) was observed with Hitachi H−800 transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and the spectrum analysis was carried out by altra-violet visualized absorption spectrometry, and son on.
