LiteratureReview:

Thisresearchdrawsfrompreviousstudiesontheuseofcohesivedevicesinthewritingofsecondlanguagelearners.Theliteraturehighlightstheimportanceofcohesivedevicesincreatingacoherentandcohesivetext.SeveralstudieshavealsoidentifiedthechallengesfacedbyChinesestudentsintheuseofcohesivedevicesandthecommonerrorstheymake.However,thereisalackofresearchthatinvestigatestheperceptionsofChinesestudentstowardstheuseofcohesivedevices.

Methodology:

Thisresearchadoptsamixed-methodsapproach,usingbothquantitativeandqualitativedata.Thedatacollectionwillinvolveawrittentestandaquestionnaire.ThewrittentestaimstoinvestigatetheuseofcohesivedevicesintheEnglishwritingofChinesestudents,whilethequestionnaireaimstoexploretheirperceptionsoftheimportanceofusingcohesivedevices.Thedatacollectedfrombothsourceswillbeanalyzedusingdescriptivestatisticsand
