Thisresearchdrawsfrompreviousstudiesontheuseofcohesivedevicesinthewritingofsecondlanguagelearners.Theliteraturehighlightstheimportanceofcohesivedevicesincreatingacoherentandcohesivetext.SeveralstudieshavealsoidentifiedthechallengesfacedbyChinesestudentsintheuseofcohesivedevicesandthecommonerrorstheymake.However,thereisalackofresearchthatinvestigatestheperceptionsofChinesestudentstowardstheuseofcohesivedevices.
Methodology:
