Through literature review and empirical research, the following conclusions have been drawn: Firstly, government image communication is one of the important ways to construct a harmonious society. Government image communication can enhance the governments credibility and integrity, strengthen the trust between the government and the people, promote cooperation and development in all aspects of society, and promote the construction of a harmonious society. Secondly, to achieve effective government image communication and a harmonious society, attention should be paid to the following aspects: government image should be built on the basis of fair policies and transparent governance; government image communication needs to use new media such as the Internet and social media to interact and communicate with the people; government image communication should stimulate the trust and support of the people for the government, and improve the credibility of the government image through responsibility and efficiency.
