Dependingontheontologythefunctionalsemanticannotationmechanismisproposedtofurthereliminate thesemanticdifferencebetweenthedescriptivetermsusedbyservicesprovidersandcustomers.Basedon theaboveeffortsthematchmakingbetweenWebservicesandrequestsisrealized.Furthermore,theWeb servicedescriptionlanguagebasedonfunctionalsemanticsisdesignedandaprototypesystemFunWSDSis established.Finally,basedontheprototypesystemtheperformanceofthismethodisevaluatedbyan experimentalsetup.TheresultsofexperimentprovethatsuchakindofWebservicediscoverymethodis feasib1eandPffective.
