The results indicate that, for the GBM204A calibration model, the optimal roughnessheight isbetween 0.09 and 0. 11mm and theroughness elements effectively pro2 duce prompt boundary layer transition at trip location without any additional drag occurring for roughness heightswithin this range. Trip disk is suitable for high speed wind tunnel testingwith many advantages over the traditional grit2trip.
