Two formulas for calculating LSF are introduced. The value of LSF has influ ence on product reliabilit and the product life standard error ( LSE) is one of main factors that determine LSF. A method for cal culating LSE based on maximum entrop principle and fuzz s nthesis anal sis is proposed and an example is given to illustrate how to use it.
