1Scope

Thistestmethodisusedtoevaluatethecorrosionresistanceofcomponentssubjectedtohighcorrosiveloads.Itapplies

particularlytocomponentswithazinc-nickelcoatingwithpassivationandsealing,andtoheatexchangers(e.g.,condensers,

radiators,andchargeaircoolers),lines,andothercomponentsmadeofaluminumalloys.Performthetestonthefinishedpart.

Evaluatetheheatexchangersandlinesbymeansofasubsequentleaktightnesstestandonthebasisofmetallographic

transversemicrosections.Alwaysapplythecorrosiveloadfromtheoutside.Donotapplyasimultaneouspressureload.Ifpainted

componentsareused,performthetestonpartswiththepaintfinish.

1范围
