There is no perceptual difference in color appearance between the original image and the images restored by the proposed method. The proposed method outperforms significantly the state of-the-art CFA interpolation methods in terms of both objective (more than 20%) and subjective image evaluation criteria. The proposed method is computationally efficient and compares favorably, in terms of computational complexity, with the widely used high-powerful CFA interpolation methods
