一、研究背景
Withtheincreasingnumberofmobiledevicesandwirelessapplications,MobileAdhocNetworks(MANETs)havebecomeanimportantresearcharea.MANETsconsistofacollectionofmobilenodesthatcommunicatewitheachotherthroughwirelesslinks.Thesenetworksarecharacterizedbytheirdynamictopology,limitedbandwidth,andoftenunreliablelinks.Duetotheinherentmobilityofthenodes,traditionalcongestioncontrolalgorithms,suchasthoseusedinwirednetworks,arenotsuitableforMANETs.Moreover,intheabsenceofacentralizedcontrol,itisdifficulttomonitorandmanagethetrafficinsuchnetworks.Therefore,efficientcongestioncontrolmechanismsarerequiredtoensurethatthenetworkoperatessmoothlyandthatthequalityofservice(QoS)requirementsoftheapplicationsaremet.
二、研究目的
Thegoalofthisresearchistoproposeacongestioncontrolalgorithmformobileadhocnetworksthatcanefficientlymanagethenetworktrafficandimprovetheoverallnetworkperformance.Theproposedalgorithmshouldbeabletoadapttothedynamictopologyofthenetwork,handlethevaryingtrafficload,andensurethatthenodeshaveafairshareoftheavailablebandwidth.Moreover,thealgorithmshouldbelightweight,soastominimizetheoverheadonthenetworkandtoconservethelimitedenergyresourcesofthenodes.
三、研究方法
Inthisresearch,wewillanalyzetheexistingcongestioncontrolalgorithmsforMANETsandidentifytheirstrengthsandweaknesses.Basedonouranalysis,wewillproposeanewalgorithmthataddressestheshortcomingsoftheexistingalgorithmsandmeetsourrequirements.Wewillusesimulationtools,suchasNS-3,toevaluatetheperformanceoftheproposedalgorithmundervariousscenarios,suchasdifferentnetworktopologies,trafficloads,andmobilitypatterns.Wewillcomparetheperformanceofouralgorithmwiththatofexistingalgorithms,anddemonstrateitssuperiority.
