The corresponding dynamic simulation was carried out to make the kinematics and dynamics analysis. Based on the parametric variables, the optimization design was conducted to get better performance of pumping unit. The results show that the root mean square value of acceleration of suspense point is reduced about 26.77% and the one of crank torque is reduced about 30.91% compared with the original machines under the same conditions (oil weight and constraints). The application of virtual prototyping in product development can improve product quality, shorten development cycle, and reduce costs. K
