误,在此笔者给予更正。

THE CORRECT USE OF DARNELL-MOL SOLIDE CONVEYING THEORY

ABSTRACT :The Darnell-Mol ′s solid conveying theory is an one important one in polymer processing
with using plasticating screws,it ′s main goal is to describe the behavior of conveying solid. In the feed
section of screw,it ′s output is dependent on the friction between the polymer and barrel,and the friction
between the polymer and screw,there are some errors in the example using Darnell- Mol ′s solid conveying
theory in some common textbooks,so the calculation results is not true. This paper makes the correction for
those errors.

Darnell-Mol根据固体与固体摩擦的静力平衡为基础,建立了固体输送理论,这是挤出理论的一个重
要内容。其主要任务是描述螺杆加料段中固体输送行为,这一理论对新型挤压系统(螺杆、机筒)的设
计提供重要的理论依据,对挤出加工工艺的制定具有实际的指导意义。
现行教科书《塑料机械设计》 [1,2]
等,对Darnell-Mol固体输送理论进行了详细的介绍,还附有例
题便于读者理解和掌握。但遗憾的是,例题中有部分内容有错(有关熔融理论中平均温度的正确计算问
题见文献[7]),为改正其错误的地方,先回顾一下固体输送理论的有关内容。
1 固体输送理论简介
