一.教材分析:本单元围绕青苔动词“must, might, could, can`t ”,通过灵活运用这些情态动词,让学生学习推理,培养学生的逻辑判断能力。

重点句子Whose book is this ? It must belong to Carla /It must be Carla`s
Whose hair band is it? It can`t belong to Mary. Mary has short hair
Whose ruler is it? It could/might be Jim`s. he has a bule one

让学生学会用情态动词表示推理,判断

通过展示CD, novel,小发夹引出单词classical music, author, hair band.并教读单词
用图片教单词,吸引学生的注意力 Step3 sentence

T: good, it is my CD, we can say the CD must belong to Miss Chen ,we also can say
It must be Miss Chen`s CD(板书到黑板上,并继续操练) 通过提问,学习新词组和句型。 Step4 practice
T:询问学生what do you have?学生展示后教师问学生:may I borrow your……?然后问学生whose book/pen/eraser/ is this?
Ss: it must belong to…∕it must be××`s
(教师在这个部分中收集学生的物品,为下文学习做好准备) 问答形式再次操练belong to,加深学生对它的理解 Step5 listening (1a,1b)
让学生按要求完成1a和1b,听力结束后,核对答案
