POSTDOCTORALEMPLOYMENTAGREEMENT

ThisPostdoctoralEmploymentAgreement(the“Agreement”)ismadeandenteredintobyandbetween[NameoftheInstitution](the“Institution”)and[NameofthePostdoctoralScholar](the“PostdoctoralScholar”),effectiveasofthedateofthisAgreement.

WHEREAS,theInstitutionisengagedinresearchandeducationinthefieldof[FieldofStudy],anddesirestoemploythePostdoctoralScholartoengageinpost-doctoralstudiesandresearchattheInstitution;and

WHEREAS,thePostdoctoralScholarhasextensiveexperienceandexpertiseinthefieldof[FieldofStudy],anddesirestoengageinpost-doctoralstudiesandresearchattheInstitutionundertheguidanceandsupervisionof[NameoftheAdvisor].

NOW,THEREFORE,inconsiderationofthemutualpromisesandobligationssetforthbelow,theInstitutionandthePostdoctoralScholarherebyagreeasfollows:

1.POSTDOCTORALSTUDIESANDRESEARCH:ThePostdoctoralScholaragreestoengageinpost-doctoralstudiesandresearchattheInstitutionforaperiodof[PeriodofEmployment]months,beginningonthedateofthisAgreement.ThePostdoctoralScholar’sstudiesandresearchwillbeconductedundertheguidanceandsupervisionof[NameoftheAdvisor],andwillfocusonthefieldof[FieldofStudy].

2.DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:ThePostdoctoralScholaragreestoperformthefollowingdutiesandresponsibilitiesduringthetermofthisAgreement:

(a)Toengageinpost-doctoralstudiesandresearchattheInstitution,assetforthabove;

(b)Toparticipateinteaching,research,andscholarlyactivitiesattheInstitution,asassignedby[NameoftheAdvisor]orotherappropriateauthority;

(c)TocontributetotheacademicandscientificenvironmentattheInstitutionbyparticipatinginseminars,conferences,andotherscholarlyevents;

(d)Toperformanyotherdutiesandresponsibilitiesthatmaybeassigne
