AbstractAchemiluminescenceenzymeimmunoassaybasedonmagneticmicroparticles(MmPs-CLEIA)wasdevelopedtoevaluateseruma-fetoprotein(AFP)inparallelwithtraditionalcolorimetricenzyme-linkedimmunosorbentassay(ELISA).AsystematiccomparisonbetweentheMmPs-CLEIAandcolorimetricELISAconcludedthattheMPs-CLEIAexhibitedfewerdosagesofimmunoreagents,lesstotalassaytime,andbetterlinearity,recovery,precision,sensitivityandvalidity.AFPwasdetectedinfortyhumanserumsamplesbytheproposedMPs-CLEIAandELISA,andtheresultswerecomparedwithcommercialelectrochemiluminescenceimmunoassay(ECLIA)kit.Thecorrelationcoef?cientbetweenMPs-CLEIAandELISAwasobtainedwithR2?0.6703;however,thecorrelationbetweenMPs-CLEIAandECLIA(R2?0.9582)wasobviouslybetterthanthatbetweencolorimetricELISAandECLIA(R2?.6866).
